Dear friends,
I write this open letter to you with a heart overflowing with love and compassion, reflecting the boundless love that Jesus has for each and every one of us. Throughout the pages of the Bible, we find the words of Jesus, resonating with grace, mercy, and an unwavering desire to bring healing and salvation to the world.
Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). These words encapsulate the very essence of His mission on Earth – to demonstrate the depth of God’s love and to offer salvation to all who believe in Him.
From a young age, I have dedicated my life to sharing this transformative gospel that allows people to experience the love and power of God. Jesus Himself proclaimed, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). It is my mission, through the ministry entrusted to me, to walk alongside you on this journey of faith, guiding and inspiring you to embrace the abundant life that Jesus promises.
As we encounter the trials and tribulations of life, Jesus assures us, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). It is in His embrace that we find solace, peace, and the strength to overcome any obstacle that comes our way. His love knows no bounds, and His grace is extended to all who seek Him.
My prayer is that through our ministry, lives will be restored, talents will be ignited, and destinies will be shaped in alignment with God’s divine purpose. Together, let us embark on this incredible journey of faith, embracing the transformative power of the gospel and allowing others to witness the love of Jesus in and through our lives.
May His love and grace continue to guide and empower us as we shine His light in a world that desperately needs it. Together, let us experience the boundless love and power of God, forever changed by the love of Jesus.

About Bishop Jonathan Ballard
Jonathan Ballard is the Bishop of the Church of the Living God Association and Senior Pastor of the COLG, Leland and Whiteville campus. He is also a speaker and teacher of Apocalyptic Theology with emphasis on “End Times” or (Revelation).
Bishop Ballard also has a local television ministry called “The Church of the Living God Broadcast with Pastor Jonathan Ballard” that also can be found on YouTube.
He has been in full time ministry for over 24 years and has preached the message of Jesus Christ to thousands of people through his television programs, churches and foreign missions. God uses him in the prophetic anointing to bring a message of hope and deliverance to a lost and dying world.
Education:
He has a degree and background in Civil Engineering and worked for the US Army Corps. Of Engineers. He also has Doctorate of Divinity in Religious Studies.
My History:
Bishop Ballard started in ministry in 1991 under his mother and founder Pastor/Evangelist Helen E. Ballard. He was her drummer within the music department. In 1994 he was called into ministry to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and God began to use him tremendously. In 1996 due to his mother failing health he was tasked with the responsibility of the church. In August of 1996 he became the Senior Pastor of the church. Soon after, he began to expand the ministry by forming different churches and organizations in various locations. In 2006, Bishop and a group of Pastors formed the Church of the Living God Association and named him the Presiding Bishop over the Association.
